Wrote A Great Song In Nashville

While in Nashville, I co-wrote a smash with Seth Jones and Sam Tinnesz. We started writing at 10 a.m. and it took us like an hour or so to complete the song, but I tell you what... we were stoked about it! It's called, "The Last Thing On Your Mind."

After we got through writing, I took the Corvette back to Carl Black and picked up my manager's truck for him. I loved cruising around in that Vette. The fact that it was a stick shift brought the enjoyment level up even more. I went back to the loft after that and went across the street to a mexican restaurant where I ordered take out to take back to the loft. I went back and stuffed my face. It must sound like I eat a lot because I talk about it a lot. It's just when your schedule is so up and down like mine, you try to eat whenever you get a free second which isn't very often. Last night at around 6:30, my manager and I went to a SOCAN publishing event down on West End and mingled for about an hour and a half. I saw some familiar faces that I haven't seen in quite some time and I met a lot of new people too. It was a good evening out. Little Joe, our limo driver, took us back to the loft after that and I quickly packed up and went right to bed.

This morning I woke up at 5 a.m. Shelley picked me up out front at 5:45 am and we headed to the airport to catch our flight to New Orleans. We just arrived in New Orleans and I'm sitting on the curb waiting for Shelley to come by and get me in the rental vehicle. Thankfully I have a Wifi card and get Internet. I'm getting up on the times, lol. We are driving to Lafayette from here and I have a radio visit when we get there and then a show later on tonight. Please wish us all luck out here. Your prayers mean a lot. Have a great day and God Bless!
